We are PREGNANT!

We are 10 weeks pregnant! As you can imagine we are so EXCITED! Makenzie is so excited too! She keeps saying "baby belly" and she talks about sharing all her things with her new little sister/brother (yes we will find out what we are having!). Our due date is on Gary's mom's birthday (11/30)! Sorry I haven't been posting much lately...I used to do it when Makenzie napped but now I'm napping then too! Thank God for naps! I think I may be starting to come out of the woods with the morning sickness! Gary is such a HUGE help and support! We will keep you posted on the pregnancy!

She is hilarious!

Everyday this little girl does something that makes me laugh so hard it hurts! As many of you know Makenzie has a fake laugh. For those of you who don't know and haven't heard it, I am sorry! But when Mak hears a group of people or just 1 person laugh she laughs along with them...but it is not her cute little spontaneous laugh that she normally has. It is this belly laugh that is so fake and hilarious! She knows by now that when she does it anyone within ear shot starts laughing even more so she does it even more! So a few days ago a couple of Gary's friends (my friends too!) came over to spend time with us and then go to a late breakfast...Mak happens to LOVE these guys! We do too! Jon and Josh! So when Jon had gotten here we were all talking and laughing about something and Makenzie did her fake laugh! Jon apparently had never heard it or forgot about it but he was literally rolling on the ground! She has such a fun personality! :)

Our dear friends Kellie and Jason (I grew up with Kellie...she was 1 of my 1st friends in California when we moved from NY.) are his parents...and they are AMAZING! They were amazing before Levi entered their lives but now they are really shining lights! They deserve a cure! Levi deserves a CURE! Please pray for healing and a cure! And if you have any spare change please donate!

He especially needs prayer right now...he is in the hospital.

Grateful for the moment!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post! Things have been a bit crazy but I have been savoring every moment! A wiser person than I once said "these are the good old days". Meaning don't look back and wish you were living in the past and don't look forward wishing you were already there. Enjoy now! Make memories today! I think Gary and I have done a really great job at savoring every moment! We have never put yard work over driving to the coast for lunch, and chores around the house never keep us from spending time with each other or those we love(although our house is pretty clean!lol!). I am grateful at my ripe old age of 28 that I am savoring...that is really 1 thing in this life I feel like I have figured out (it is probably the only thing I have figured out so far!)...to savor every moment and make an adventure out of it! Praise God! I am feeling a bit reminiscent...in case you can't tell! We lost a very dear friend today...Denny. He was truly a remarkable man who will be missed tremendously! Please pray for his family...

It was a long year but my mom and dad battled through it together! I am so proud of them! Please continue to keep them in your prayers!

We have had a great 2 weeks! Shayna was home visiting during her break from Hume. Chelsea came up for a weekend and then she met us all down in San Diego a few weekends ago too! So Makenzie has had great quality time with both her wonderful sisters! :) She LOVES being around them! And they are so great with her! Gary loves having all his girls at home! :) We always have so much fun together! I miss you both!
