Running to the beach!
When we were here earlier this year Gary made Maki a swing out of these Banyan Tree roots and she remembered! We were walking by them on the 2nd day here and she yelled "Daddy make May-May swing!" She has such an amazing memory...it was 7 months ago!
We went on a walk every morning...well most mornings! I am officially 6 1/2 months prego in this pic! YEAH! I am really feeling good and am so GRATEFUL for it!

We are HOME! :)

We are home! We are so very thankful to have had such a wonderful trip! I will post pics in a few days of the rest of our trip!

A few funny things Makenzie is doing now...
She says "Mommy old!" and "Daddy, May-May not old!" That really gives Gary and me a good laugh! :)
&
She calls Daddy, "Gary Lee!" or "Daddy Lee!" and me, "Mommy Lee!" so funny! Gary and Maki have the same middle name but seriously I very rarely call Gary by his whole name...I have no idea where she picked that up!

We start potty training tomorrow! PRAY for us!

HAPPY 7 1/2 year ANNIVERSARY! :)

So, Gary and I always celebrate our 1/2 Anniversary...I don't know why other than we started celebrating it our 1st year and have just kept the tradition! We actually have all sorts of random and fun celebrations throughout the year. Any excuse to celebrate I guess!
I have SO MUCH in my life to be grateful for and to celebrate...Gary you TOP the list!
So on this 2,738 day of our union...Happy Anniversary! I LOVE YOU BEYOND WORDS! :)

Reflective AM...

Call it reflective or call it weepy pregnancy hormones...not sure. But it is hard to not be reflective when you have so much of God's beauty around you! We feel SO BLESSED to have 3 weeks over here in Hawaii! It has been such an amazing time! I think now that we are in the home stretch of the vacation we are beyond relaxed and in a vegetative state of mind!

I actually feel like we are on a retreat...without the craziness of responsibility and distractions at home it is so easy to just focus on the Lord. On 1 of the 1st days of our trip I was talking with my sister-in-law Carrie on the phone about CS Lewis and she told me a quote that has been ringing in my head. My summary by CS Lewis "you don't pray to change God's heart, you pray to change your heart" I can NOT tell you what that 20 min. phone conversation did for my reflective heart. For 7 days I committed to not ask God for 1 thing (I did ask him for a parking spot at the Grocery store though..oh well!) I prayed for God to just make my heart aligned with His will. And it has been AMAZING! I can not tell you the peace I have had this whole trip with my new way of praying and thinking! Instead of looking at God like He was a candy machine who would indulge my every whim I have been really seeking His will with every prayer. Now I am not going to live in that extreme of not talking to God about my wants (even though He knows them better than I do!) but I am really going to TRY and focus on praying for His heart.

Well enough of my blabbering on...here are some pics of the beauty we have been seeing every day! I hope you enjoy! We are!

This is the moon's reflection on the water! Absolutely breath taking! We literally sit every night and just stare out at the water and the moon! Gary LOVES the moon!

This must of been some sailing club we only have seen them 1 time.
My FAVORITE view of the Ocean! :) I just couldn't post a blog and not mention my hubby and little girl! I AM SO BLESSED to have them in my life! :)

Happy Birthday Jaja in Hawaii! :)

My parents decided to fly out here to join us for a long weekend! Makenzie was so excited Tita and Jaja were coming! She kept saying "May-May push Jaja in water!" and "May-May splash Tita!". My Dad's birthday was last week (July 28th) and we were hoping they would join us for at least a weekend on our vacation to celebrate! Here are a few pics from their time here with us! Thanks for coming out! We had a blast with you guys!

Happy Birthday Jaja! Thanks for being such a great Grandpa and Dad! We love you!

Ocean here we come! We bought her this life jacket the 1st day we were here and it is fantastic! She is really brave so it REALLY helps give us peace of mind especially when she goes out in the deep water to float with us!
Tita ready for a night on the town! They went out to an Elvis show and had such a great time! Mom, you look BEAUTIFUL! :)
Maki playing in the water with Daddy and Jaja! She is so brave! :)

More Hawaii pics and a funny story!

So today we went swimming at the Outrigger canoe club and afterwards I took Makenzie into the locker room to shower off. As we were walking to get to the shower stalls, an older lady had just stepped out of her's and was not completely covered up...Maki yelled "BOONEY! BOONEY!" The lady smiled at us and I said "yes, honey...let's go." I was so embarrassed...and then I remembered this evening when I was talking with Gary and Chelsea about it, that no one who is outside of our family knows what "Booney" means (unless other people use it and we are unaware). So for those of you who don't know, "Booney" is our family word for butt.
Hope you enjoy the pics! We are having a really relaxing time! :)
Getting splashed playing in the waves!
A bit thirsty I guess!
Daddy caught Maki a crab!
Every morning Maki and Daddy look for trash trucks, buses, and bikes on the back patio...this was just so precious I had to take the shot!
Daddy and Mommy out on a date! We have had 2 great date nights! THANKS CHELS AND SHAY! :) They really are the BEST big sisters EVER! :) Maki eats up every moment with them and always has so much fun with them! And they do such a great job with her! :)
Chelsea and Daddy at Cheeseburger in Paradise! Such beautiful smiles! :) You should see how much darker Chels is today...she says she looks Samoan!
pretty sisters in their new shades! :)

Chelsea got here a few days later and is here until Tuesday! We love having them all here together! So fun!:) Here are just a few pics so far! More to come...
My hunky hubby and precious little girl!:)
Hanauma Bay!
Maki splashing big sisters! This is at Hanauma Bay...the perfect beach for toddlers! Shayna and Gary climbed Diamond Head! They got to the top and I could see them from our window! Maki couldn't but she kept pointing to Diamond Head and saying "Daddy Nay-Nee up that hill!"
