Grateful for health!

Makenzie is doing much better! And she is having a great time having Daddy around so much and Shayna is home too!:) Our completion day is this Friday and then Gary will be home a ton! YEAH!:) I know a some people wanted to see it completed so we may set something up for this weekend...
I lost my camera...I am actually sure Makenzie hid it! I am going to search all of her hiding spots today and then I can post some pics from the last few weeks! Also...we saw the baby yesterday!:) It was so exciting! They are starting a new ultrasound test instead of the normal 16 week blood draw to check on the health of the baby...it was AMAZING! We had the 4D image done with Maki when she was around 30 weeks...but to have it done so early was amazing! They said the baby looks healthy! 10 fingers and 10 toes! And so active! It looked like the baby was jumping up and down and doing gymnastics! The technician had a "feeling" of what the baby was but wouldn't tell us...she said she is wrong some times this early! So we are waiting 3 more weeks to find out from our Doctor! This is such an amazing time! :)

change of plans...

Yesterday Makenzie started coming down with a cold and we took her to the Doctor today and she put her back on her breathing treatment (it is okay...she has some wheezing issues when she gets sick and it helps her heal faster!).

Of course she got sick yesterday...our original plan for the weekend: We were going to leave tomorrow and go to San Luis Obispo (1 of our favorite get aways) and stay there until Sunday morning to drive up to Hume for 1 night to pick up Shayna (we are so excited she is coming home during her break before Summer camps start)! Gary has been really busy the last 2 months working on our project for the moment (I will post pics of the final product next week!...it is BEAUTIFUL!) So we were so excited to just get away for a few nights...And as it sunk in this AM that our plans are no longer going to happen it hit me like a ton of bricks! Who cares! We still get 5 uninterrupted days of togetherness! Here at home...truly our favorite place on earth! We never plan our vacations to stay at home but why not!? We love it! So I am so excited of the change of plans!

Mak is so literal!

Daddy says "Makenzie say buttons again"
Makenzie replies "say buttons again"

Mommy says "Maki you have to hold a hand because there are so many cars"
Makenzie promptly grasps her hands together (like she is praying) and says "holding hands"

I have to start writing these down...they happen all the time and it is so cute!
